Coal Dust, Rust & Saw Dust!

What is it? It's my first book! Actually, it is my good friend Van Wagner's first book!

Van approached me about a year ago about putting together this book for him. It's a collection of his essays and songs on a variety of subjects including Pennsylvania history and environmental heritage, logging, coal mining, charcoal making, iron foundries and more! Van asked me to lay out the book and include some of my ghost town photos that would tie in. I also created the cover which is based on actual photos of the log raft re-enactment story, included in the book.

After months of toiling with Adobe InDesign (and 252 Photoshop layers later, for the cover), the book is ready for sale! It is available for purchase from Van's website, www.vanwagnermusic.com (*see below). The book comes with a 2 CD set with the 28 songs included in the book.

We're having an official book release party at Brews N' Bytes Coffee Shop in Danville, PA on April 25th at 7:00pm!
